Improving Data Quality in Work Break Research: Validating Contextualized Bogus Items

Abstract
We validated nine new data quality items that are contextualized to a work break/OHP context. There were 560 participants, and new bogus items significantly correlated with previously validated bogus items (r = .81, p < .05), and both sets of bogus items correlated similarly with other measures of inattentive responding.
