Abstract

Adolescents have positive and negative experiences on social media (SM). Findings indicated that positive SM experiences may be protective in the links among emotion regulation, stressors, and depressive symptoms. For example, stress demonstrated weaker associations with depressive symptoms when adolescents had high levels of positive SM experiences.
