Abstract
Latent profile and mixed regression analyses revealed four distinct profiles of caregiving in a diverse lower-income sample of mother-infant dyads engaging in dyadic problem-solving. Maternal alcohol dependence (but not PTSD, anxiety, or depression) was uniquely predictive of membership in the “harsh and detached, low scaffolding and supportive parenting” profile
