Development and Initial Evaluation of the Mandarin Version of Selected Spectra of the Hierarchical Taxonomy of Psychopathology Self-Report (HiTOP-SR)

This study adapted three spectra (48 scales) of the Hierarchical Taxonomy of Psychopathology Self-Report scale into Mandarin Chinese through translation, back-translation, and group consultation. Tested with 2,014 Chinese undergraduates, the scale demonstrated high internal consistency, test-retest reliability, and validity, providing a foundation for applying the HiTOP model to Chinese populations.
