Abstract
Telework is not universally beneficial or challenging. It benefits individual tasks and global collaborations, but its overall effectiveness depends on contextual factors such as team setting, job role and work tasks. Telework policies may be insufficient if the organizational culture or specific work tasks are not well-suited for telework.
