Abstract
This study examines family cohesion, kinship support, and parental involvement as family-level protective factors moderating the link between community violence exposure and low-income urban adolescents’ socioemotional adjustment. A cross-sectional survey of 200 students will measure these factors, with findings expected to inform family-centered interventions promoting adolescent resilience amid community violence.
