Abstract

We examined IPSV, moral injury, religious struggles (R/SS), purity culture beliefs and psychological distress among U.S. Christian women (N = 210). Findings revealed that R/SS and moral injury mediated the IPSV-psychological distress relationship, while a subscale of purity culture beliefs moderated the IPSV-R/SS relationship.
