Impact of Horizontal and Vertical Pay Dispersions on Employees’ Basic Psychological Needs Satisfaction

Based on self-determination theory, I will investigate how horizontal and vertical pay dispersions affect employees' basic psychological needs. I will survey 500 full-time Canadian employees and perform regression and latent profile analyses to assess the strength of these relationships and identify key compensation profiles and their associated needs satisfaction levels.
