Fun and Excellence Drive the Experience of Flow at Work

In a correlational study with N = 290 employees, we showed that no type of extrinsic, but intrinsic and achievement motivation as well as their interaction explained up to 69% of the variance in the experience of flow at work, a state of absorption in a challenging activity.
