Abstract

This study examines whether political media consumption polarizes Gen X and Millennials differently and assesses the impact of cross-cutting media. Results from 136 survey participants showed no significant opinion shifts toward opposing parties, suggesting generational similarities and that like-minded or cross-cutting media may no longer strongly influence polarization.
