The Effects of Social Identity and Timing of Group Categorizations on Perception and Memory
- Dalton Puckett

Abstract
This study examines how intergroup biases and the timing of group categorizations influence perception and memory of political demonstrations. Participants will observe a protest video with group categorizations introduced before or after the event. We expect pre-event categorization to intensify perception bias, while post-event categorization to enhance memory bias.
