Confirmatory Factor Analysis of Attitudes Toward Research Scale for Adult Learners

CFA was applied to data from a sample of 357 college-level adult learners to explore the fit of the ATR’s five-factor model for this population. Results suggest a four-factor solution: latent factors were 1) usefulness, 2) positive enjoyment of research, 3) insecurity regarding, and 4) difficulty of research.
