Abstract
This study examines how mindfulness and assigned sex at birth (ASAB) moderate the relationship between age and negative affect (NA) in a Nigerian sample (N=242). Results reveal a quadratic age-NA association, with mindfulness reducing NA, particularly in older adults. Findings underscore mindfulness's protective role in emotional well-being across the lifespan.
