Abstract
Using 2021/2022 SAMHSA data, veterans reporting increased drug use during COVID-19 had significantly higher odds of suicidal ideation: nearly three times higher with “a little more use” (OR = 2.89) and almost six times higher with “much more use” (OR = 5.97) compared to "much less use".
