Abstract
This proposal explores how optimism and pessimism influence pro-environmental behaviors, with self-efficacy and perceived risk as potential moderators. Using an online data collection platform (Prolific), the study aims to test hypotheses on affective states' role in driving environmental actions. Findings will provide insights into emotional drivers for enhancing pro-environmental engagement.
