Reasons That Undergraduate Students Provide for Social Distancing from Autistic Individuals

Undergraduate students completed the Social Distance Scale and provided reasons why they might be hesitant to interact with an autistic individual. Multiple reasons for social distancing were identified; some emphasized the autistic person (e.g., concern about social communication skills) and others focused on the participant (e.g., lack of autism knowledge).
