Abstract

Participants (N=204) were subliminally exposed to a novel stimulus 0 vs. 30 times. Only participants in the 30 exposure condition accurately predicted their own implicit evaluations of the stimulus. This suggests that repeated activation can lead to awareness of one's own implicit evaluations, even if this activation is unconscious.
