An Intensive Longitudinal Study of Suicidal Mental Imagery in Adolescence

Experiencing suicidal mental imagery appears to be more prevalent in younger and sexually minoritized youth and is associated with increased suicidal thoughts and behavior severity more broadly. It may be beneficial to regularly assess for suicidal mental imagery as well as consider such mental imagery in treatment efforts.
