Abstract
Chronic absenteeism rates have sharply risen following COVID-19. Though efforts are being made to combat this issue, in underfunded schools, parents are still struggling to get their children to school. We surveyed 137 caregivers and found that many parents are not fully aware of the negative outcomes of frequent absences.
