Sources of Social Support Moderate the Relationship between ACEs and Negative Mental Health Outcomes

Adverse childhood experiences (ACEs) are linked to later depression and anxiety. However, social support may mitigate the negative impact of ACEs. This study examined whether specific sources of social support moderate the relationship between ACEs and mental health outcomes. No moderating effects were found for any source of social support.
