Abstract
Multiple linear regression was used to predict volunteerism among 1,401 adults in the United States. Results indicated that emotional intelligence (appraising own emotions, regulating others’ emotions, and utilizing emotions), self-efficacy, and education significantly contributed in predicting volunteerism, F(7, 1393) = 69.90, p <.001, and R2 = 0.26.
