What’s in a Game? a Multidimensional Scaling of Video Games

Abstract
This research employed multidimensional scaling to explore how video games are perceived, identifying three core dimensions without the emergence of violence as a significant factor. A focus group was used to label these dimensions, highlighting differences between players and researchers in their conceptualizations of video games.
