Abstract
This project will assess whether stress increases alcohol craving, reactivity to alcohol-related cues, and related activity of the prefrontal cortex (PFC) in college students. We hypothesize that higher self-reported stress levels will increase alcohol craving and disrupt PFC activity (fNIRS) and response inhibition in the presence of alcohol-related visual cues.
