Abstract

Maladaptive daydreaming (MD) is intense and excessive daydreaming that leads to distress and poor interpersonal relationships. MD is a coping mechanism against stress or negative environments. With the prevalence of work stress in the US, this study will examine the workplace, maladaptive daydreaming, and its emotional and wellbeing outcomes.
