Abstract
We investigated how cumulative support from natural mentors during racially/ethnically underrepresented students’ first year of college is associated with subsequent ethnoracial identity exploration and pride. Mentor support was positively associated with ethnoracial pride via students’ ethnic identity exploration. Additionally, there was an unexpected negative direct association between support and pride.
