Intergenerational Transmission of Emotional Memories between Parent-Teen Dyads

The current work investigates intergenerational transmission of emotional memories in parent-teen dyads. We propose that emotional qualities, parent-teen emotional concordance, and parent’s motivation to share the memory would be related to the fidelity of emotional memory transmission. This work may assist in understanding intergenerational memory transmission and adolescent well-being.
