Abstract

We developed a prosocial cooking scale and examined its associations with well-being through cross-sectional and experience-sampling studies. Prosocial cooking positively predicted positive affect at both between- and within-person levels, and negative affect at between-person level. Introverts may benefit more from prosocial cooking in positive affect and self-esteem than extroverts.
