Abstract
This daily diary study examined the role of resilience in the relationship between negative mood and same- and next-day drinking. Using hierarchical regression analyses, we found that participants with greater resilience were less likely to drink after days with greater negative mood. Future intervention strategies may seek to bolster resilience.
