Abstract
Perceptions of having low socioeconomic status relative to others (low “subjective SES”) places individuals at increased risk of poor health and may contribute to socioeconomic disparities. Little is known about subjective SES during pregnancy. Findings indicate individuals’ subjective SES changes from preconception through pregnancy, though predictors of change remain elusive.
