Ethnic Minority Americans May be More Likely to be Perceived As Immigrants.

In a longitudinal study, we examined whether higher perceptions of threat from immigrants would spill-over or be related to perceptions of ethnic minorities who have not been designated as an immigrant. We observed this result, and we observed that Time 1 perceived threat predicted Time 2 attitudes toward ethnic minorities.
