Abstract

This study explores mental health help-seeking attitudes and their impact on mental health among Chinese international students in the United States. English proficiency and gender influenced these attitudes, which were associated with mental health outcomes. Findings highlight addressing linguistic and gender barriers to enhance international students’ mental health.
