Abstract
We introduced skill mobility and explored cultural differences between Japan and the U.S. Using the newly developed Skill Mobility Scale, we examined its relationships with other work-related variables. Results revealed skill mobility in the U.S. is higher than Japan but has weaker associations with workplace status and self-esteem.
