Racial Microaggression Experiences and Impacts Vary across U.S. Geographical Locations

Microaggressions have been linked to pathological outcomes in marginalized communities. Limited research exists on geographic and spatial contexts of racial microaggressions, so we examined differences in microaggression experiences across settings (rural, suburban, urban) and U.S. regions. An interaction effect showed that experiencing microaggressions varied by setting and U.S. region.
