Abstract
The current research found that perceieved partner mental health support predicts relationship satisfaction through perceived burdensomeness and thwarted belongingess (Study 1). Furthermore, emotion-focused/distraction strategies (compared to four other strategies) elicited the highest preference scores and the strongest links with relationship satisfaction (Study 2).
