Abstract
Using factor analytic techniques and alignment method, this study examined in depth the psychometric properties of an existing smoker identity scale and a newly developed vaper identity scale in large samples of U.S. young adults. The results offered both theoretical and applied insights into the multifaceted nature of tobacco-related self-concepts.
