Abstract

This study explores the relationship between metacognition and boredom. Despite the link between self-regulation and boredom in previous studies, there has been little exploration of how metacognition influences boredom. This study aims to fill that gap by examining the role of metacognitive abilities in reducing both state and trait boredom.
