Abstract
A qualitative study with 90 participants (adolescents, caregivers, healthcare providers) highlights emotional challenges and limited social support among Kenyan adolescents with sickle cell disease. Cultural beliefs and systemic barriers deeply influence their mental well-being, revealing opportunities for culturally tailored interventions to strengthen support systems and improve health outcomes.
