Abstract

We examined the relationship between autistic traits and social anxiety, focusing on theory of mind and social adaptation. The study involved 300 Italian parents of children aged 6 to 18. Results showed a positive association between autistic traits and social anxiety, with theory of mind as a potential mediator.
