Too Tired to be Honest: Investigating Mental Fatigue’s Role in Dishonesty through Competing Theoretical Accounts

We use an experimental design to examine two competing accounts of the effect of mental fatigue on dishonesty. Our pilot suggests differences in participants' experiences of mental fatigue. For a registered report, we will recreate the mental fatigue manipulation and extend the study design, using the Spot The Difference task.
