Abstract
Research has consistently demonstrated that the impact of success and failure, especially the order in which these outcomes are encountered, affects performance. Using anagram tasks including solvable and unsolvable anagrams, we found that four distinct clusters of participants identified by personality measures significantly differed in both persistence and accuracy measures.
