Abstract
This study examined the effects of social cognition and interaction training (SCIT) on neurotrophic factors (BDNF, GDNF) and psychosocial function in drug-naïve MDD patients. Results showed SCIT outperformed CBT in improving social, cognitive, and occupational functioning, with increased GDNF levels linked to enhanced autonomy and financial independence in SCIT participants.
