Abstract
In a 2020 study of 482 college students in East China, sexual orientation identity changes were linked to increased psychological distress. Males shifting to a sexual minority status had higher depressive symptoms, while static sexual minority females showed increased anxiety. Multi-level interventions are recommended for support.
