Paths [Senderos]: A Program to Building Strength in Grief for Adults with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities
Supporting the mental health of bereaved adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD) is crucial, as people with IDD may be at greater risk of disenfranchised grief. This presentation reviews the methodology used to adapt the Paths [Senderos] program to address grief among people with IDD from a community-engaged approach.
