Depression, Stigma, Norms, and Vested Interest: Social Psychological Approaches for Understanding and Increasing Help-Seeking Among Medical Residents
Major depressive disorder afflicts approximately 30% of medical residents. Reducing depression among this population could have life-saving implications for residents and patients. This symposium will include results from four, theory-guided, pre-registered studies, all derived from a large data collection of over 1,600 medical residents across the United States.
