The Future of Noninvasive Brain Stimulation in Psychotherapy
This symposium explores how non-invasive brain stimulation (NIBS) could shape the future of psychotherapy. Four studies showcase diverse uses of NIBS: accelerating OCD treatment, enhancing hypnotizability, addressing treatment-resistant depression, and augmenting therapy to reduce Veteran suicide. The potential to improve existing therapies and tackle challenging barriers to treatment are discussed.
