Early Family Contexts and the Development of Self-Regulation across Childhood: Insights for Interventions
This symposium leverages innovative research methods, including scoping review, observational, and longitudinal design from diverse and cross-cultural backgrounds. It examines proximal factors, adverse childhood experiences, and intergenerational comparison of caregiver-child interactions within early family contexts in relation to individual variability in self-regulation development across childhood and its implication for interventions.
