Loneliness in the US, UK and Japan: New Methods and Measures.
Loneliness is a global problem. Here, we will present work on (1) mapping London’s loneliness via digital footprints, (2) unpacking whether loneliness is related to higher/lower mobility, (3) showing the value of measuring loneliness at an automatic level and (4) how first-generation students show reduced loneliness relative to their peers.
