Quantifying the Mind: Demonstrating How Mathematical Modeling Advances Social Cognition Research

Across four talks, this symposium presents a diverse range of state-of-the-art mathematical modeling techniques to quantify the cognitive processes underlying (1) revisions of impressions of others, (2) the way and speed with which prejudice is expressed, (3) competing theoretical accounts of social perception, and (4) moral perceptions of others.
