COVID-19 Vaccine Hesitancy: Evidence from Multiple Perspectives, Methods, and Countries

Friday, May 24, 2024 · San Francisco, CA

Oral · Personality/Emotion

Vaccine hesitancy — the reluctance, delay, or refusal to vaccinate — is not a new concept in psychology. Given the emotions surrounding the COVID-19 vaccine, hesitancy was difficult to overcome. Five talks, using qualitative and quantitative data from the US and China, highlight psychological factors that determine willingness to vaccinate.
