Avoidance, Fear, and Interference: The Different Pathways to Reduced Experience of Positivity
Three talks will present empirical findings examining differential behavioral and person-based predictors of reduced positivity and depression. The talks are connected by their use of novel methodology that unpacks how and whether avoiding, fearing, and/or interfering with positivity results in anti-anhedonic experiences, which will be further explored by the discussant.
